Helping your child get started

What they need

Indoor non-marking trainers, comfortable sports kit and a water bottle. Clubs can usually lend a junior racket, and protective eyewear is strongly recommended for all juniors.

What age?

Many clubs welcome children from around five or six, often starting with mini-squash or Squash 57 with a bigger, slower ball.

Safe & supported

We are committed to safeguarding. Our coaches and volunteers working with juniors are expected to hold appropriate checks and training.
