Norfolk Squash League division 2 Roundup:  
The Norfolk Squash League Division 2 continues to promote exciting talent, with promising juniors like Henry Smith and Corbin Bolt, playing crucial roles in their teams.

Date: 22 October 2024 
Fakenham 7 - 13 East Anglia
The match between Fakenham 1 and East Anglia 3 on October 22nd saw East Anglia triumph 13-7. One of the standout performances was from Henry Smith, the 12-year-old junior, who displayed remarkable skill and composure beyond his years. Smith faced off against Martin Dack in a thrilling 3-2 encounter. After dropping the third and fourth games, Smith powered through to win the final game 15-8, securing a vital win for his team.
 
Other key performances for East Anglia included Merrick Osbourne who won 3-1 against Connor Doy, and Jaimik Patel, who triumphed 3-0 over Jason Smith.

Cromer 2 - 16 Rossis
Rossis 2 were dominant in their 16-2 victory over Cromer 1, with Corbin Bolt, the talented junior following in his father’s squash footsteps, contributing significantly. Corbin faced Henri Paul and won 3-0, showing his maturity on the court.
Other key performances for Rossis came from Jasmine Thirst with a 3-0 win against an 8 time county champion Richard Millman and Matt Sumner (3-1 vs. Martin Guppy), who both showed strong play in their victories. Rob Whiting also earned a 3-1 win over Matthew Jordan, adding to the team’s success.

Rossis 14 - 5 Diss Heywood
In their second fixture of the week, Rossis 2 secured a 14-5 victory over Diss Heywood 3. Once again, Corbin Bolt delivered a standout performance, helping his team with a solid 3-0 victory. Jasmine Thirst and Matt Sumner both recorded 3-0 wins as well, while Rob Whiting contributed a 3-2 victory against John Fowles.
